长潭高速公路全线通车湖南第一条高质量、高标准的高速公路长潭高速公路历经2年零5个月的建设，提前3个月竣工。昨日，通车庆典在长隆重举行。长潭高速公路是湖南省第一条利用亚洲开发银行贷款建设的高速公路，也是国道主干线京珠高速公路湖南境内的一段。该路起于长沙县牛角冲，终点是湘潭市吉安路口，全长51.552公里除湘潭马家河至吉安路口6.792公里按一级公路标准建设外，其余全部按高速公路标准建设，路基宽27.5米，双向6车道、全封闭、全立交，设计时速120公里，工程总投资11.9亿元，其中利用亚行贷款7400万美元。
