岳常高速公路（湖南岳阳至常德高速公路）是国家高速公路网中第十二横线杭瑞高速公路的组成部分，是湖南省高速公路网规划“五纵七横”中的第一横，起于岳阳市君山区建新农场十大队，途径华容县、南县、安乡县、至于常德市肖伍铺与二广高速相接；向东穿越洞庭湖与随岳高速公路、京珠高速公路连接。全线长141.62Km，大中小桥梁88座，永久占地868公顷（13020亩），估算投资92.69亿元。2013年12月30日，岳常高速全线通车，它的通车不仅缩短了到岳阳、常德等地的开车时间，同时也标志着南县、安乡、华容三个县首次有高速公
